We receive food donations from local farms, Cobbs, and other organizations and we distribute it to the community for free every Thursday evening at 2065 Drennan Street, Sooke BC.
A weekly shared meal where people can gather, eat together, and connect in a welcoming, no-pressure environment. Currently every Thursday from 5pm to 6:30pm. No registration required. Just show up!
We have a beginner friendly adult drumming group that invites people to explore rhythm, expression and collective energy. Email sookeshift@gmail.com for details.
We also host family friendly sing and play music sessions. Our next one is scheduled for November 20th, 2026.
SHIFT brings families and Community together through inclusive events, trips, and celebrations. These experiences are designed to be welcoming, accessible, and rooted in joy, connection and belonging.

We have joined Water Rangers as Sooke SHIFT Society Streamkeepers and we are currently setting up our dataset. Stay tuned for more updates here and contact us by email if you would like to join our streamkeeping activities.

We host most of our programming in the shared community building at the Makola Community at 2065 Drennan Street, Sooke BC.
